Famous Park City trail. Natural half pipe (the actual Spin Cycle portion) that is <br />
tons of fun (and makes it pretty much a one-way, downhill only trail). Don't <br />
forget to take a picture by the washing machine at the end of the half-pipe. <br />
This ride can be extended on the Deer Valley, Deer Crest, or Gamble Oak trail <br />
network for a longer ride.
Ride to Snow Park, Deer Valley (or park there if you are in a car, there are <br /><br />big lots). Instead of getting on a chairlift, just ride up the dirt road about <br /><br />100 yards and the trail will be on the right. Follow that trail up (signs say <br /><br />Deer Crest) and keep following it... you will come to the St. Regis hotel. <br /><br />Keep going on the trail and any time there is a turn, follow signs to <br /><br />Outlook/Spin Cycle. You will continue on trail around mountain with a view <br /><br />of Lake Jordanelle and highway 40. Keep going and you will get to road <br /><br />after an uphill grunt. Follow road down under little bridge and take a left <br /><br />(200 yards or so). Then, take first right (50 yards or so). Then first left <br /><br />onto service road (50 yards or so). Spin Cycle trailhead will be on the right <br /><br />and it is marked. Ride Spin Cycle until you get to washing machine at <br /><br />bottom of trail. Go diagonal thru that parking lot and trail resumes. Follow <br /><br />it down, go under bridge, then prepare for massive uphill to get out of Deer <br /><br />Crest. Little road, then left to go up on Village Trail (there is a Trail sign on <br /><br />road before the left). Follow that up and you will hit a chairlift (Deer Crest). <br /><br />Continue around the chairlift and trail resumes on the left just past it. <br /><br />Cross fire road and continue up trail until you get to paved road and Deer <br /><br />Crest gate.
